In this documentation, we will discuss the customization of the bbPress Topic Index widget brought to you by the Element Pack Pro addon.

Inserting the Topic Index Widget

Open your page in Elementor editor, search by the bbpress topic index widget name, and then drag-drop it on the page.

Take a look at the default view

After inserting it on the page, the default view for bbpress topic indexes will be displayed.

The features are; Breadcrumbs, Search bar, Topic Header, Voices (Comments), Posts, Last Post (date), and Pagination.

Content tab customizations

Layout section

Go to Content > Layout

Find the Show Search Form and Show Breadcrumbs options.

Style tab customizations

Breadcrumbs section

Go to Style > Breadcrumb

Find the text Color, Hover Color, Padding, and Typography options.

Search Bar section

Go to Style > Search

Find the Text Color, Background Type, Border Type, Width, Color, Border Radius, Padding, and Typography options for the search Input field.

Find the Text Color, Background Type, Border Type, Width, Color, Border Radius, Padding, Margin, and Typography options for the Submit button.

Header customization

Go to Style > Header

Find the Text Color, Background Type, Color, Border Type, Border Radius, Padding, Margin, and Typography options.

Body section

Go to Style > Body

Find the Odd Color, Even Color, Odd/Even Border Color, Odd/Even Padding, Border Type, Border Radius, Padding, and Margin options.

Forum Title section

Go to Style > Forum Title

Find the title Color, Hover Color, Margin, and Typography options.

Voice/Post Count section

Go to style > Voices/Post Count

Find the Color, Padding, and Typography options.

Customize Forum Meta

Go to Style > Forum Meta

Find the Color, Hover Color, Margin, and Typography options.

Customize Pagination

Go to Style > Pagination

Find the Count Color and Typography options.

Then for the Normal mode, find the Color, Background Type, Border Type, Border Radius, Padding, Margin, Typography, and Box Shadow options.

The Hover and Active modes also have similar options for customization.
