How to use Bbpress Forum Index Widget – BdThemes Knowledge Base

In this documentation, we will show you how to customize the Bbpress Forum Index widget presented by the Element Pack Pro addon for Elementor.

Inserting Forum Index

Find the bbpress forum index widget by its name, then drag and drop it on the page.

Default View of the Forum Index

The default bbpress forum index shows a list of topics, posts, and post time with a segmented-style data sheet.

Content Tab Customizations

Layout section

Go to Content > Layout

In the Layout section, you will find three radio buttons.

1. Show the Search Form
If activated it will show a search bar on top of the Index lists.

2. Show Breadcrumb
It will show you the navigational track’s current location.

3. Show Lists Forum
It will show all forum lists on the index.

Style Tab Customizations

Breadcrumbs Customization

Go to Style > Breadcrumbs

Here, you can customize the breadcrumb’s text Color, Hover Color, Padding, and Typography to make them more visible in the Breadcrumbs.

Search Bar Customizations

Go to Style > Search

In this section, find the Text Color, Background Type, Border Type, Width, Color, Border Radius, Padding, and Typography options to customize the search Input field and Submit button.

Header Section Editing

Go to Style > Header

Find the Text Color, Background Type, Color, Padding, and Typography here. Other options are Border Type, Border Radius, and Margin.

Customize The Body Section

Go to Style > Body

Find the Odd/Even Padding, Padding, Odd Color, Even Color, Odd/Even Border Color, Border Type, Border Radius, and Margin options for the form body.
