The Honeycombs widget is one of the specialty items for Elementor where you can put content with a bee honeycomb style. This is a pretty useful tool for designing eye-catchy page sections for regular to advanced websites.
Here, we will show you how to use the honeycombs widget in Elementor.
To Insert Widget
Inserting the widget is just a matter of dragging and dropping. As you see in the screenshot above.
Content Tab
Using the content tab, you’ll be able to make a layout of a particular part of a website. And in this regard, some handy sections in the tab will assist you a lot.
Now, I’m going to show the sections of the Content Tab and how they work behind the widget.
Layout
Go to the Content tab > Layout.
When you will drag and drop the widget in your desire location, you will get a list group. Mostly, you can add a new list in the group just clicking on the +ADD ITEM button. As you see in the screenshot.
Front
Now, go to the Layout > hit the repeater one after one > Front >. Then, set Icon, Title, Title color, Background Color, and Image.
You can edit every single list item(repeater). Simply, hit on the List Item and edit the field found in the List Item.
N.B: Keep it remind. From both the Content tab and Style tab, you might add an image for a background. If you want to add an image from the Content tab, you have to set an image for every single repeater. But, in terms of adding an image from the Style tab, it will allow one image for every single repeater.
Back
In terms of Back mode, you will be able to add Content and Content Color along with background color.
In addition, you can go for setting a link to the honeycombs.
Additional
Just, go to the Content tab > Additional.
This section will let you control the honeycombs. That means Width, Spacing, Honeycomb style, and Comb Animation.
Moreover, using the switcher button you can manage Icon, Title, and Description.
Style Tab
Now, let’s work with Style Tab. The tab will easily have you style the web content (text, image, video, etc.) of the page you require to design the honeycombs gallery.
Styling with the Style tab in Elementor will always give you a fantastic experience.
Let’s have a look.
Item
This sections includes the modes, FRONT and BACK. Both the modes will allow you to do the same things such as adding a solid background color or image background, yeah, gradient color of course.
Most importantly, after hovering the Front element, it is possible to show the Back element.
Along with, you can use CSS Filters. See the screenshot above.
Icon
From this section, you might add Color, Size, and Padding with icon.
Title & Description
In these sections, you can just add Color, Typography, and Padding to the Honeycombs Widget.
