How to Use WooCommerce Categories Widget

For showcasing products categorically, you can face some issues. But, using the WooCommerce Categories widget, you can easily avoid all trouble and display your products with awesome layouts.

To Insert Widget

Inserting widget is really fun. Just, drag and drop the WooCommerce product categories widget into the section. See the image example above.

Layout

Normally, from this section, you’ll be able to determine the Columns number, adjust the Item Gap and Categories Count as well. Simply, go to the Content tab > Layout. Look at the photo above.

Query

This section works for setting the source location of data that you need to display by the reference like Author, Categories, Tags, and Formats of the Elementor WooCommerce Categories. The references can be different in accordance with the source location. Read more 

For example,

A.  Go to Source > Select ( Manual Selection / By Parent) 

B. Then, write Categories (seen in the image) name in the field of its own.

C. Here, the most important thing is Hide Empty switcher button. If your any product is sold out, you’ll be able to hide the product easily. Just, you need to enable the button.

D. Order By and Order controls are here to arrange the data you want to display through Name, Description, Slug, and the Count as well with ascending or descending order.


Style Tab

Now, let’s work with Style Tab. The tab will easily have you style the web content (text, image, video, etc.) of the page you require to design the WooCommerce Categories widget by Element Pack. 

Styling with the tab in Elementor will always give you a fantastic experience.

Let’s have a look.

Item

In this section, in terms of the modes, Normal and Hover, you can add Background color, Border type, and adjust Padding and Border Radius. Also, you can go for the Box Shadow.

Look at the image middle of the screenshot above, you’ll discover the effect of Hover mode. Just, you should hit on the mode.

Image

Look at the Image section. This section will let you set a border in a different style (Solid, Double, Dotted, etc. ) and radius to the images. You can do all these things both in Normal and Hover mode. Take a look at the screenshot above.

Title

This last section will let you add ColorHover ColorActive ColorMargin, Padding, Alignment, and Typography to the Title.
