How to Use Single Post Widget

The post is a very key issue for a blogger and blog site. The Single Post widget will be the best solution ever for bloggers who face problems while showing a post in a professional manner. In this documentation below, I’ll include some instructions and pictures detailed to help you get started.

To Insert Widget

Inserting a widget, it is just a matter of dragging and dropping. As you see in the screenshot above, drag the Single Post widget in Elementor page editor.

Content Tab

Using the Content Tab, you’ll be able to make a layout of a particular part of a website. And in this regard, some handy sections in the tab will assist you a lot in displaying your popular posts.

Now, I’m going to show the sections of the tab and how they work behind the widget.

Layout

Go to the Content tab > Layout >

Come to the Layout section. Here you will find a field for putting id of a post you want to display on your site.

Also, you can see some On/Off switcher options to handle the contents of the post.

From the image above, you can see how to find post ID for the custom posts.


Style Tab

Now, let’s work with the Style Tab. The tab will easily have you style the web content (text, image, video, etc.) of the page you require to design the Single Post widget. 

Styling with the tab in Elementor will always give you a fantastic experience.

Let’s have a look.

Tag

At first, to style the tag of the post, go to the Style tab > Tag. And take a look at the photo above.

Title, Date and Category

Go to the sections one by one.

In these three sections, you will be able to add color, typography. Especially, in the category section, you can add color to Meta Separator Color.

Overlay

From this section, you can set overlay to the image. Just, go to Style tab > Overlay.
